Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how ChronoFace (“we”, “us”, or “the App”) handles information when you use our iOS application and related websites. ChronoFace is an entertainment product that provides AI portrait aging, future-baby previews, couple matching, and family portrait composition.
1. Summary
- We process photos you choose in order to generate entertainment results.
- Photos may be sent to third-party AI processors (currently Baidu Face and Replicate) to fulfill your request.
- We do not sell your photos or personal data.
- Results saved on your device stay under your control (Photos / in-app history).
- The App is for entertainment only and is not a medical, forensic, or genetic service.
2. Information We Process
2.1 Photos and face imagery
When you use Change Age, Future Baby, Couple Match, or Family Portrait, you select photos that may contain faces. These images are required to provide the feature you requested.
2.2 Device and usage data
Standard technical information may be processed in connection with requests (for example device OS version, app version, language, approximate timestamps, and request diagnostics). We do not require an account to use core generation features in the current version.
2.3 Support communications
If you email us, we process your email address and the content of your message to respond.
2.4 Local history
Generated results may be stored locally on your device so you can review, save, or delete them in History / Settings. Clearing history removes those local files from the App sandbox.
3. How We Use Information
- To generate age-transformed portraits and related entertainment images
- To compose couple / family portraits from the photos you provide
- To improve reliability, prevent abuse, and diagnose failures
- To respond to support requests
- To comply with legal obligations
4. Third-Party Processors
To deliver AI features, selected photos are transmitted securely (HTTPS) to service providers acting as processors for the duration of your request:
- Baidu Face (editattr / V2_AGE) — age transformation
- Replicate — future baby generation and multi-person portrait composition models
These providers process images to return a result to the App. Their own privacy practices also apply to processing performed on their infrastructure. We configure requests for feature delivery and do not use your photos to build an identity catalog for advertising.
5. Retention
- On device: history and saved photos remain until you delete them or uninstall the App.
- In transit / processors: images are sent to complete a generation job. We design the product so photos are used for the active request rather than long-term marketing profiles. Processor-side retention follows each provider’s policies and operational needs (for example temporary job storage for rendering).
- Support email: kept as long as needed to resolve your request.
6. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with processors needed to run the App (Section 4), or when required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and integrity.
7. Your Choices
- You can deny camera / photo library permissions in iOS Settings (some features will not work).
- You can clear in-app history from Settings.
- You can delete results from your Photos app after saving.
- You can stop using the App and uninstall it at any time.

8. Children
ChronoFace is intended for general audiences and entertainment. Do not use the App to create harmful, exploitative, or unlawful imagery involving minors. If you believe a child’s photo was submitted inappropriately, contact us and we will review available options.
9. International Transfers
Processing may occur on servers outside your country (including providers located in other regions). By using the App, you understand that your selected photos may be transferred to those processors for generation.
10. Security
We use industry-standard transport encryption (HTTPS) for network requests. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please avoid uploading sensitive documents or photos you do not wish to process with AI services.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” above will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
